ABOUT FAIRFAX OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE:
The Fairfax Open Space Committee exists to preserve the visual and environmental values of the community through the purchase of undeveloped land in and around Fairfax. The goal is to provide sanctuary for indigenous flora and fauna for future generations. Currently, FOSC is trying to raise $45,000 to acquire a trail from above the Willow Avenue neighborhood in Fairfax that connects to San Anselmo’s Hawthorne Canyon Open Space Preserve and the ridge trail system (the Upper Ridgeway Trail). For more information about this fundraising event, please visit the Committee’s website at www.fairfaxopenspace.com.
